Orly Purple Crush

I got this manicure done in celebration of being finished work! The reason I like getting manicures is because filing and shaping is not my thing I'm really not good at it! Unfortunately this mani chipped after a day, but I'm kinda happy because that means I can switch my polish tonight!!! Yesterday I layered it with GOSH Magic Star. Here are the pictures:

Today I am going shopping with the rentals to get stuff ready for my dorm, and then tomorrow I'm going to go shopping with my friend! I am also going to buy Etude House polishes either tomorrow or Tuesday. Please let me know if you would wanna do a swap with these polishes - I hear they are pretty rare to find! I will need to know in the next week because I'm moving on the 2nd!!!!!

OPI Jade is The New Black + mini haul - picture heavy!!!

Hey guys! happy Saturday! Today I have some news before I show you my pictures! I WANT CHANEL PARADOXAL!!! (who doesn't!?) Well, now the hunt is on!!

So I decided to use OPI Jade Is The New Black, which I bought a few months ago. I realized I should probably start showing the polishes I already have! (You will be proud to know that today I went into American Apparel ONLY to buy the polishes for my swap, and I didn't buy any for me! I also only bought ONE polish today - AND IT WAS ON SALE! - I will tell you more about this polish later!)



I then stamped the zebra print from konad m57 with Nicole Positive Energy

Today I bought Nicole by OPI - Nicole... Spotted from the new Gossip Girl Collection. I am so glad I found this! I think this would be a great layering polish and looks oceany wearing it just by itself! It's a thick jelly, but I love the different sparkle colours! I might have to go buy the other ones from this collection.
For you Canadians - well mostly Quebec people I guess! Go to Jean-Coutu rather than Pharmaprix (Shoppers Drug Mart) because it was $7.99 rather than $9.99! For you other people, look around, you might find it cheaper! $2 is a big difference, we have the highest tax rates!

Tonight I am going to Rihanna and Ke$ha, about to start my crazy manicure for that! Not sure what to do yet.. something flashy!

China Glaze Grape Pop has been a lemming (did you know a lemming is a small rodent?) of mine ever since I saw it. When I heard it was the same as funkey dunkey, I decided to choose China Glaze over OPI (It was cheaper!). As many of you have said, Grape Pop is your favourite purple, I must agree!
One of the great things about this polish, besides the application, is the fact that it looks so different in different lights. I tried to capture the different shades, hopefully you see it! Last night I was at a friends house, and it was thundering, and my polish looked almost black like OPI Siberian Nights.

Today I did a konad with m64 and GOSH Gold, it is a very subtle konadicure, but I love it! (On the thumb I used OPI Do You Liliac It? But it was too light for my liking so I switched to the gold). Konading GOSH was actually a lot easier than I was expecting! I'll be using the gold to konad a lot more!


ps: I WON THE MAD AS A HATTER AUCTION! pictures to come later, it's quite a bundle! The seller just needs to figure out how much shipping to Canada will be, and then I will make an official post :)

oh my GOSH gold!

Today I wanted to show you GOSH Gold! This is one of my new favourite colours. I love the way it looks if you are in the mood for a not super bright flashy colour! It's perfect for that! I'm pretty sure it would look good on all skin tones too. It applied really well, in about 2 coats. And the wear was AMAZING. I put it on last night, and I was in the pool today for 3 hours, and only chipped 3 fingers on one hand, the other hand was flawless! Usually every single finger is chipped with 3 hours in the pool! So that means the wear is super!!!
It is my first gold polish! I'm happy I bought it! Plus it was on sale!

We've had really bad weather for the past few days so it's been hard to get an outside image, but I think you get the idea!!!

mini haul + mini rant

Alright so today was an interesting day! 50 followers! I went to work this morning and then I went to Wal-Mart and I bought Sally Hansen Insta Dri Black and White (I love the whole insta-dri collection). I finished a bottle of white already so I had to get a new one and decided to get a black as well since it's a simple colour and I love fast drys! I also bought Nailene French tip nails, they were only like $4. I also went to Shoppers (great deals in Shoppers this week for you other Canadians!) I bought 2 Gosh polishes (on sale for $4.99) and I bought the Nailene 200 pack of nails (also on sale). I can't wear fake nails because I work at a pool, but I only have about 3 more weeks of work, so I thought I could try them out then (they were on sale so I had to get them now!)

Right now I am sporting a water marble that I made yesterday, post to come for that tomorrow. I will take it off tomorrow and try the GOSH polishes! Hopefully the polishes I ordered online come soon as well.

Today, I searched for the OPI Swiss Collection in Montreal - and failed, miserably. I was so depressed! I must have searched like 10 different stores, and NO ONE had it, some of them didn't even know what I was talking about!! I guess it hasn't been released here yet?! So disappointing, UGH. I have made a decision to not buy any more polishes online, and I really want to buy some OPI Swiss! Hurry up stores!!!
