Today I have OPI Purple with a Purpose with Bundle Monster plate bm224 stamped with Konad Special White polish. Very summery!

Hi! Sorry I have been MIA with the nails for a while, but I just started a new job last week, and I would be so tired everyday so I kept the same nails for a week!
So what I wore to work was OPI's Mod About You, with one of the new bundle monster plates (BM-221) stamped with white Konad Special Polish . Btw, I think OPI Mod About You, is my favourite polish!

And I'm really thinking hard of what to do for a giveaway, It will definately be smaller than my last one, but I will try to think of something good! Any ideas?

my OPI collection

Hi!
Today I have a post which is a little different! I have some pictures of my OPI's! This is the brand that I have the most of, and it's what made me want to start collecting polish! I store my polish in 4 plastic shoe boxes and one and 1/4 is OPI! I love the bottle shape, the quality, the brush, and the colours.






This collection took me many years to accumulate and all of my friends know I love polish so I often get OPI as gifts so all of these weren't purchased by me!

What is your favourite brand of nail polish?
Is there any OPI polish that you can see that I'm missing and you think I should get?!

My dressmaker polish is going to come off soon so I might do another konad, watermarble OR if I find those sally hansen nail strips I am gonna try those!

silver shatter!

Hi guys!
Today I have OPI's Mod About You, with the new Silver Shatter. I think it looks so awesome! The thing about the black shatter, is that it looks slightly halloweenish and better for Winter/Fall, but the silver shatter is great for spring and summer!
What do you think about the colour combination? Would you recommend any other polishes from the Pirates of the Caribbean Collection? Thanks for reading!

In real life the blue stamping brings out the blue in the OPI polish, but without the stamping it looks more gray!

Coral Shatter

Hello lovely readers!
Once again, I'm really sorry for my lack of posts.. Today's excuse = Procrastination! I'm sure most of you know a little something of what procrastination can do to a student.. :) Don't worry my next exam isn't for another week, I think I'm allowed to procrastinate!
So on Saturday I painted my nails with Joe Fresh Coral to put me in a spring mood and make me feel better about studying.. and today they were super chipped so I decided to get a few extra days of life out of them by putting OPI Black Shatter on top!
I'm sure most of you own this by now, I don't even think it's hard to find anymore? I bought mine from Mexico actually ahha but I've starting to see them in Salons around here as well.

Let me know what you think! Do you like OPI Shatter? Is China Glaze Crackle good too? I really want to try the Pink or White Crackles (or wait for the White OPI Shatter) because It will be so nice for summer! Whats your favourite colour to put underneath of Shatter/Crackles?

okay, so I know I should be banished from the blogger world because I haven't blogged since like.. september?! oh wow. fail! oh well, i am here now, I just wanted to catch up with all my nail polish lovers out there! I have been super busy with school but that's just an excuse because I often find myself just doing nothing or watching tv, but I realized there were aspects of blogging I didn't enjoy like swatching (probably cuz I sucked at it!) so if I do get back to blogging I won't be doing any more of those!
I have still been keeping up with doing my nails either konading or just plain polish, I haven't marbled since I have been here, I just don't want to go through the explanation to everybody how it's done cuz I get a lot of questions about konad which I think is much easier to explain than water marbling "oh it's just a stamp" hahaha okay so today I received some polishes that I ordered (I haven't gotten any new ones since like, Novemeber?! so it's kind of a big deal!) I ordered 4 polishes from ebay, and one of them was NOT the one I ordered so hopefully they reply back and send me the right one and hopefully I can keep the one they accidently sent? Has that ever happened to you?

Okay so I have some questions for you guys, so please comment either answer the questions or let me know how you have been doing because I am soooo not in the polish loop anymore!
1) What is your current favourite nail polish?
2) What are some polish collections to look forward to?
3) Did you get OPI Black Shatter? and if YES then is it worth it? Should I get it?

Okay so I finally decided to use the dotting tool I had sitting around (I actually have 5 because that's how they were selling them on eBay for like $1!) so I used one and this is what I came up with - multicolored dots!!!!

For this mani I used Sally Hansen Insta- Dri Whirlwind White as a base (after I used OPI natural base coat) and dotted with Joe Fresh Fuchsia, Powder Blue, Coral, China Glaze For Audrey, Four Leaf Clover, OPI Mod About You, and American Apparel Peacock. Topped off with one coat of Seche Vite.

I love using Sally Hansen Insta-Dri White as my base for things because it dries so fast and it's just a base so I don't have to worry about it being perfect! As for the rest of the colors, they all applied really well, and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be! I just put a dab of polish on a piece of paper and then used the dotting tool!

I got a lot of compliments while wearing this people were like "WOW DID YOU DO THAT YOURSELF?!" they loved the left hand, good thing they didn't see the mess that was my right hand! Man I wish I was ambidextrous!!!

Today we packed up all my winter clothes, and then we will do everything else next week! Hope you guys stick along to experience my journey living in residence!

MAJOR haulage + bad luck

OKAY! so today my transdesign order came in + I did some shopping in the morning and bought some goodies (which starting now I'm on a NO POLISH BUY until I move and then of course I will have to hit up Sally's so until September 2nd I'm not allowed to buy any polish, which I'm totally okay with since my containers are filling up)
Today I bought some Milani polishes from Loblaws they don't have limited edition so I only got simple ones! I also got 3 polishes from my friend who went to Isreal (however only two survived - story later). And I bought my first (and probably last) Deborah Lippman polish Bad Romance! (How much of a follower am I!) They did have Chanel's Paradoxal in the store I went to, but the Deborah Lippman polish did enough damage to my bank account so I decided to pass! I can survive without it!

The bad luck was that when I went to pick up my Joe Fresh polishes for my swap and the Milani polishes, my car battery decided to die! Thank god our car fixer people were right across the street! I called my mom and I was like "MOM I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO" major freak out there, but everything got fixed up! That was the first time anything like that happened to me! But I think I handled my self well! :)

haulage + my first swap!

Okay come on guys, FOUR more followers until my giveaway! Don't you want a giveaway?! Guess not!

So today I have for you some one haul from Loblaws, one from eBay, and one swap!

I went to Loblaws to buy Joe Fresh polishes for my giveaway, and of course I had to buy some for me! I also bought a L'oreal Paris polish on sale as well as my first Sally Hansen Xtreme polishes!

So of course, biggest lemming besides Hidden Treasure and Paradoxal was Mad As A Hatter! So I went searching on eBay and found this AMAZING offer! I bid on it and only paid $36 for Mad As A Hatter, Absolutely Alice, Off With Her Red and two Alice in Wonderland lipglosses (which are not great at all and I will probably throw them out but that's okay) YAY :)

And then last but certainly not least, I did a swap with Karen from Frazzle and Aniploish and it arrived yesterday! It was a great package everything was wrapped so nicely! I got some Mood Struck polishes (my first mood changing polish) a Maybelline polish (my first as well) and my first Claire's polish! I also got China Glaze Flying Dragon which was also a lemming! So thank you SO much to Karen for the awesome swap!!!

Thank you all for the lovely comments you have been leaving me! I'm almost at 100 followers, so today I have to finish buying the polishes and get ready for the giveaway! i'm back + trip pictures

Hello lovely readers! I'm back from our nation's capital Ottawa (Ontario, Canada).

What a lovely trip it was! It was nice to get away from this city and explore the Capital! We did many things such as go to the Parliament, do a tour of the Mint, shop, eat, boat cruise etc. It was great!

Polish wise, I bought one polish in Ottawa Essie Pretty Edgy! I had been wanting it for a while and I finally found it in Shoppers Drug Mart! Who knew?! The Shoppers here don't have the new collection (well I guess it's not new anymore?)

I also arrived home to two lovely packages! A Nfu-Oh polish (my first and certainly not last) and some OPI polishes I ordered from Amazon.

This week my nails are taking a break. Thursday is my last day of work at the pool so I am going to go get a manicure in celebration! I've been waiting all summer!!! Not sure what colour I'm gonna get, I wonder how long I will be able to keep it without getting bored??

transdesign haul!!!

Alright so the package arrived MUCH faster than I had anticipated, so a big thanks to transdesign! I ordered 8 polishes sometime last week, and they decided to arrive today! I couldn't have been more excited, so I started ripping open the box (which I must add took me about 10 minutes to open because of the wonderfully tight packaging!)

I thought this boxes were amazing! I am going to keep them and reuse them!

Do any of you get bad allergies in the summer? I am allergic to ragweed, it's awful :( It started this week, and today has been the worst day. So much sneezing and watery eyes and runny nose. My throat is also very sore, perhaps unrelated to the allergies but I read somewhere that it may be a symptom. What do you find works best to treat allergies? I just took some Reactine (non drowsy of course) so let's hope that works!
