OPI Jade is The New Black + mini haul - picture heavy!!!

Hey guys! happy Saturday! Today I have some news before I show you my pictures! I WANT CHANEL PARADOXAL!!! (who doesn't!?) Well, now the hunt is on!!

So I decided to use OPI Jade Is The New Black, which I bought a few months ago. I realized I should probably start showing the polishes I already have! (You will be proud to know that today I went into American Apparel ONLY to buy the polishes for my swap, and I didn't buy any for me! I also only bought ONE polish today - AND IT WAS ON SALE! - I will tell you more about this polish later!)

I then stamped the zebra print from konad m57 with Nicole Positive Energy

Okay so now for some tres mini haul pictures:

yesterday:
Gosh Magic Star, Gosh Flamingo, Nicole by OPI Positive Energy (I think I will use Flamingo as part of my giveaway! COME ON 100 followers!)

Today I bought Nicole by OPI - Nicole... Spotted from the new Gossip Girl Collection. I am so glad I found this! I think this would be a great layering polish and looks oceany wearing it just by itself! It's a thick jelly, but I love the different sparkle colours! I might have to go buy the other ones from this collection.
For you Canadians - well mostly Quebec people I guess! Go to Jean-Coutu rather than Pharmaprix (Shoppers Drug Mart) because it was $7.99 rather than $9.99! For you other people, look around, you might find it cheaper! $2 is a big difference, we have the highest tax rates!
Here it was at Shoppers, $2 more!!

Last night I went to...

MICHAEL BUBLE!!!!!!

Tonight I am going to Rihanna and Ke$ha, about to start my crazy manicure for that! Not sure what to do yet.. something flashy!

Once again, please let me know if you would be interested in swapping! I would either have to do it this week, or wait until September, after I move!

China Glaze Grape Pop has been a lemming (did you know a lemming is a small rodent?) of mine ever since I saw it. When I heard it was the same as funkey dunkey, I decided to choose China Glaze over OPI (It was cheaper!). As many of you have said, Grape Pop is your favourite purple, I must agree!
One of the great things about this polish, besides the application, is the fact that it looks so different in different lights. I tried to capture the different shades, hopefully you see it! Last night I was at a friends house, and it was thundering, and my polish looked almost black like OPI Siberian Nights.

Today I did a konad with m64 and GOSH Gold, it is a very subtle konadicure, but I love it! (On the thumb I used OPI Do You Liliac It? But it was too light for my liking so I switched to the gold). Konading GOSH was actually a lot easier than I was expecting! I'll be using the gold to konad a lot more!

ps: I WON THE MAD AS A HATTER AUCTION! pictures to come later, it's quite a bundle! The seller just needs to figure out how much shipping to Canada will be, and then I will make an official post :)

uh oh.. another blue polish??

Yesterday, I received a long awaited gift (well I ordered it last Monday!)
China Glaze Grape Pop, Towel Boy Toy, and Matte Magic! No one told me Matte Magic was so tiny, but that's okay I love matte polish!

So as we all know, I'm a sucker for blues! So I had to try it out! I know it's not new and everyone owns it but I LOVE IT! I'm sure I have similar blues, but this is so nice! it looks great matte and shiny! It's about 3-4 coats for complete opaqueness but totally worth it! Here are my pics

Here it looks kinda matte to give you an idea (this was with top coat seche vite!)

Today I took off towel boy toy and put on Grape Pop! I also got a pedicure, I get bad in-growns and I have had surgery twice, but nothing seems to work! It was CND China Rose, with a coat of this sparkly stuff she had (unnamed) Hope you don't think my feet are gross! I think I have pretty nice feet compared to some people! I see a lot of feet at the pool hahaha

I hope everyone had a great day !
I'm bidding on ebay for OPI Mad As A Hatter, wish me luck!!

ps: giveaway at 100 followers (unless I'm moving that time) !! FOLLOW ME!

oh my GOSH gold!

Today I wanted to show you GOSH Gold! This is one of my new favourite colours. I love the way it looks if you are in the mood for a not super bright flashy colour! It's perfect for that! I'm pretty sure it would look good on all skin tones too. It applied really well, in about 2 coats. And the wear was AMAZING. I put it on last night, and I was in the pool today for 3 hours, and only chipped 3 fingers on one hand, the other hand was flawless! Usually every single finger is chipped with 3 hours in the pool! So that means the wear is super!!!
It is my first gold polish! I'm happy I bought it! Plus it was on sale!

We've had really bad weather for the past few days so it's been hard to get an outside image, but I think you get the idea!!!

Send me an email if you are interested in doing swap and we can try to figure something out!!!

Thanks for reading!

mini haul + mini rant

Alright so today was an interesting day! 50 followers! I went to work this morning and then I went to Wal-Mart and I bought Sally Hansen Insta Dri Black and White (I love the whole insta-dri collection). I finished a bottle of white already so I had to get a new one and decided to get a black as well since it's a simple colour and I love fast drys! I also bought Nailene French tip nails, they were only like $4. I also went to Shoppers (great deals in Shoppers this week for you other Canadians!) I bought 2 Gosh polishes (on sale for $4.99) and I bought the Nailene 200 pack of nails (also on sale). I can't wear fake nails because I work at a pool, but I only have about 3 more weeks of work, so I thought I could try them out then (they were on sale so I had to get them now!)

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri White and Black, Gosh Blue Monday, Gosh Gold, Nailene French tip, and Nailene 200 Nails (click for bigger image!)

Right now I am sporting a water marble that I made yesterday, post to come for that tomorrow. I will take it off tomorrow and try the GOSH polishes! Hopefully the polishes I ordered online come soon as well.

Today, I searched for the OPI Swiss Collection in Montreal - and failed, miserably. I was so depressed! I must have searched like 10 different stores, and NO ONE had it, some of them didn't even know what I was talking about!! I guess it hasn't been released here yet?! So disappointing, UGH. I have made a decision to not buy any more polishes online, and I really want to buy some OPI Swiss! Hurry up stores!!!

Have you bought the OPI Swiss yet? What are the MUST-HAVES?

ps: Inception was AMAZING!!!!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW thank you all SO much! I have reached 50 followers! I feel like that was such a short time! You ladies are all amazing and I am so glad that I started this blog, I read most of your blogs as often as I can and I am often inspired, so thank you!
I really appreciate all the comments people leave too so thanks for that as well!!!!!

A picture of the one of the first nail arts I have ever done (this was done with a friend!) musta been about 2 and a half years ago?

I guess I'm gonna have to do a giveaway soon eh?! It'd be good if I knew how!!!

Have a good Monday!!

ps: I'm seeing Inception today!!

my new favourite polish!

Okay, so I know that this polish is not super new anymore, and that so many people have already written about it, but hey now it's my turn!

When someone would ask what my favourite polish was I would always say OPI No Room For The Blues. Then I decided to order this from Amazon, and BAM! new favourite polish!!!!!!

OGRE-THE-TOP BLUE!!

It's pretty much the same colour as my Blackberry cover thingy, so I had to take a picture!!
The actual colour of Ogre-The-Top Blue is very hard to capture!! I googled it, and it seemed like everybody has a different shade of blue in their pictures. But I love it SO much, I wore it and could not stop staring at my nails!

So of course I couldn't live with just plain blue nails! So.... BAM! China Glaze Fairy Dust!
Indoors

Intentionally blurry! So sparkly!

Outside! (check out my moms flowers in the background!)

I LOVE this polish SO freaking much!! I just took it off this morning, and I actually wore it to the concert (which was amazing btw, picture to follow).

What is your ALL time favourite polish? Just pick one!!!!!!

We should make like a list of MUST-HAVE polishes! This one is on that list FOR SURE (for all you blue lovers out there)

Where is the LOVE?
