Thank you all for the lovely comments you have been leaving me! I'm almost at 100 followers, so today I have to finish buying the polishes and get ready for the giveaway! (it'll be my first giveaway ever, hope it goes well!) Of course this will be open to international readers as well since I hate not being allowed to enter giveaways!

Today I have swatches for the 3 OPI Swiss that I purchased (I know you have seen them many many times, but here is my take on them!) I LOVE ALL OF THEM!

Ski Teal We Drop, Diva Of Geneva, and William Tell Me About OPI

Diva of Geneva, does this count as red? Oh well I actually like it!
William Tell Me About OPI, Not exactly sure what to call this colour? purpely brown? plum? Anyways whatever it is its great! I thought it looked nice with one coat as well (on the thumb)

All this polishes had great application, and I love the colors! I ordered Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous so I can't wait to try that one!

milani dress maker swap?

Okay, so I figured this needed a post all on it's own so more people would read it!
I am desperately lemming Milani Dress Maker (the famous Jade dupe) and this polish is not available in Canada (that I know of) so if anyone would wanna do a quick swap for this polish PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

i'm back + trip pictures

Hello lovely readers! I'm back from our nation's capital Ottawa (Ontario, Canada).

What a lovely trip it was! It was nice to get away from this city and explore the Capital! We did many things such as go to the Parliament, do a tour of the Mint, shop, eat, boat cruise etc. It was great!

Polish wise, I bought one polish in Ottawa Essie Pretty Edgy! I had been wanting it for a while and I finally found it in Shoppers Drug Mart! Who knew?! The Shoppers here don't have the new collection (well I guess it's not new anymore?)

I also arrived home to two lovely packages! A Nfu-Oh polish (my first and certainly not last) and some OPI polishes I ordered from Amazon.

This week my nails are taking a break. Thursday is my last day of work at the pool so I am going to go get a manicure in celebration! I've been waiting all summer!!! Not sure what colour I'm gonna get, I wonder how long I will be able to keep it without getting bored??

Orly Viridian Vinyl

As promised! I've been waiting to try the Orly Plastix collection for a while, and I am so glad I did! Its probably in my top 10 fav polishes now! I need to get the others from this collection! The color was great, and I love the finish! I was going to put a coat of CG Matte Magic, but I loved the way it looked without it!
The first two pictures are pre-pool, and the last 2 pictures are after being in the pool for about an hour! Not too bad!


Alright my lovely readers, I'm off to Ottawa for the weekend - I don't plan on buying any polishes unless I find a MUST HAVE because I've ordered so many online! Hopefully I'll get some new clothes or something!

transdesign haul!!!

Alright so the package arrived MUCH faster than I had anticipated, so a big thanks to transdesign! I ordered 8 polishes sometime last week, and they decided to arrive today! I couldn't have been more excited, so I started ripping open the box (which I must add took me about 10 minutes to open because of the wonderfully tight packaging!)

I thought this boxes were amazing! I am going to keep them and reuse them!

Do any of you get bad allergies in the summer? I am allergic to ragweed, it's awful :( It started this week, and today has been the worst day. So much sneezing and watery eyes and runny nose. My throat is also very sore, perhaps unrelated to the allergies but I read somewhere that it may be a symptom. What do you find works best to treat allergies? I just took some Reactine (non drowsy of course) so let's hope that works!

Okay so I get bored really easily, and so of course I'm bored of "purple week" (bad idea in the first place) so here are the rest of my purples!

Last:
We'll Always Have Paris Suede
I loved the idea of this suede thing because I love matte polishes, but this was a fail. This polish ships really fast since you can't put a top coat on! I suppose you could do a top coat / polish sandwich to make it last?

I am waiting for so many polishes to come in the mail, I feel like I will need to buy another storage box.. uh oh!

Okay so I decided to swatch all my purple OPI's and write about each of them!
The first one is Do You Lilac It?

application = smooth

It's a must have if you like light purple! I'm sure it goes great with my skin tone, but I still like wear it!
