Fuchsia Shock!

hi!
quick post today,
Just wanted to show you the Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat (which I'm sure you have all seen or have!)
Personally I really like it, and it cracked great! Just make sure you put a thin coat, because this will not crack with a thick coat!

What do you think about the crackles? Are you over them? What will be the new trend?!

Crazy Colourful Splatter!!

Hi! today, I have some crazyyyyy nails!! This is a splatter technique which I'm sure you have heard about! Here are some pictures, followed by the straws and the paint tray I used (which is great for polishes!) and then pictures of my 2 favourite patterns!
Things you need: base colour, splatter colours, straws, something to put the polish in, lots of polish remover, and q-tips and cotton balls, and tape!
Colours I used: various random ones!! but if it's your first time trying I suggest using polishes that are old, or less expensive until you get the hang of it, so you don't waste too much! :)

What do you think!?!? This was my first time trying this, my right hand didn't really turn out too great! But that's okay, I also used tape for my left but not for my right, and probably better if you use tape! :)
Lemme know if you have any questions about this!!

thanks for reading!
Happy Sunday!
PS: I love the new blogger posting thing, it makes posting pictures so much faster! :)

Ruffian Manicure featuring Sally Hansen Insta-Dri

Hi!
Today I used 3 different insta-dri polishes to create this look. I used loose leaf reinforcements, or hole protecters to create this affect. If you want a step-by-step guide, I can show you next time, because I will definitely be doing more manis like this! :)

Excuse the blurriness! :)

What I used: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Polishes in Sea Breeze as a base, followed by Night Flight, and then the clear top coat! :)

What do you think? What is your favourite colour combination for these types of manicures?

Thanks for reading! :)

Beauty Joint NYX Haul/Review/Swatches

I'm sure a lot of you have heard about Beauty Joint to buy polishes and makeup. I decided to try some NYX products and was debating between Cherry Culture or Beauty Joint. So I put the same things in my shopping cart on both websites and saw that the shipping for Beauty Joint was less! It was less than $5 to ship to Canada which is great! I hate paying for shipping more than anything else in the world! So all you Canadian beauty lovers out there, should definitely check out this website if you want to get your hands on some NYX products or other products as well.I placed my order on June 17 and received it in less than 2 weeks, which is so great for Canada.
Here are some pictures of my haul, as well as swatches!

The package was really nicely packed!

What I got: Jumbo EyeShadow Pencils in Milk, Pots&Pans, and Iced Mocha, Concealer Jar, Eye Shadow Base, Black Long Eyeliner Pencil, and Eye Shadow palette in Champagne & Caviar

Swatches of the Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencils Milk, Pots&Pans, and Iced Mocha (From Bottom to top)

Eye Shadow Base in Skin Tone:

Concealer Pot in Glow

Black liner

Eyeshadow pallette (SOO PRETTY!)

Swatches: Top row first and then bottom row (backwards order than from palette sorry!)

So overall, I was really impressed with NYX products and Beauty Joint for such cheap and fast shipping and excellent packaging as nothing broke! :)

What are your favourite products from NYX?

Off With Her Red!

Hi!
So as I have mentioned before, I am not a big fan of red nail polish or so I thought.. :) haha So I got OPI Off With Her Red when I bought Mad As A Hatter on eBay and I thought oh well I will get both because I only have like one red which is from 5th grade probably! So I used this red in my Harry Potter mani, so then I decided to try it again!
I actually really like it! It's not like cherry red as the pictures kind of look, but it's more muted and subtle which I really like. The application was AMAZING! I'm not sure if you can still get this polish, but if you can, I definitely recommend trying to get it :)

ps: thanks for all the blog birthday wishes! :)

pss: I'm thinking of using my Sally Hansen Nail Strips for when I move, to really test out the durability, do you think that's a good idea? Would you guys want to know how they last? Because most peoples reviews are of them wearing them for 10 days but just doing normal stuff! :) Lemme know what you think!

harry potter mani!

Hi! So as you all know, the new Harry Potter movie just came out, and I am a HUGE harry potter fan, so of course had to do something awesome!! Here are some pictures of what my friend and I decided to do.

This is kind of a ruffian inspired manicure but with a little different twist. Each finger a different house represented on it, with their 2 house colours. The thumbs have a little design which you will see further down.

Products used: (you don't have to use these specific ones but anything of the same colour would be good so I'm not going to name the names, but if you want me to, just leave a comment below and I will reply back)

First we painted our fingers with the base colour, we chose the lightest colour for the base.
Then we used the nailene french tip guides to create a line to seperate the two colours. As you can see on the ring finger, that was the final product, the other 3 fingers still aren't dry yet!

And here is the final result! The thumbs are silver with a black deathly hallows symbol, and black with a white lightening bolt.

What do you guys think? Did you enjoy the movie? Can you believe that it's over?!
