my OPI collection

Hi!
Today I have a post which is a little different! I have some pictures of my OPI's! This is the brand that I have the most of, and it's what made me want to start collecting polish! I store my polish in 4 plastic shoe boxes and one and 1/4 is OPI! I love the bottle shape, the quality, the brush, and the colours.

This collection took me many years to accumulate and all of my friends know I love polish so I often get OPI as gifts so all of these weren't purchased by me!
If you have pictures of your polish collections, post a link in the comments section!
What is your favourite brand of nail polish?
Is there any OPI polish that you can see that I'm missing and you think I should get?!

My dressmaker polish is going to come off soon so I might do another konad, watermarble OR if I find those sally hansen nail strips I am gonna try those!

Thanks for reading! :) and Thanks again to all of my new subscribers! if you like my blog, it would be great if you could put me in your blog roll! :)

milani dressmaker

How annoying was that that blogger was down!? so frustrating! today, I have a polish that I am SURE all of you have heard of, and it is Milani Dressmaker. This was sent to me by Michy from Original Wacky (THANK YOU!) - if you haven't seen her blog yet, go check it out, she has great posts about polish and her animal friends!

The true colour of this polish is pretty hard to explain, but it's a minty green with gold flecks? Getting a picture of the true colour is difficult, but you get the idea!
As for the application of this polish, it was very thin which made it hard to apply this was about 5 coats I think? But so worth it for the end result!

Thanks for reading! What do you think about this colour? What is your favourite minty green polish?

Hi! Welcome to my new subscribers!! Today I have one of my only Zoya polishes (I also have Zoya Kelly) this is Zoya Dita. I would say it's a reddish pink colour. And I stamped konad m70 with Nicole by OPI Positive Energy.

Here is Zoya Dita on it's own

Thanks for reading! What do you think?
Happy Hump Day!

I'm going to DC next week, any cool things that we should check out?

silver shatter!

Hi guys!
Today I have OPI's Mod About You, with the new Silver Shatter. I think it looks so awesome! The thing about the black shatter, is that it looks slightly halloweenish and better for Winter/Fall, but the silver shatter is great for spring and summer!
What do you think about the colour combination? Would you recommend any other polishes from the Pirates of the Caribbean Collection? Thanks for reading!

neon tiger stripes

Hi!
Today I have a mani inspired by MacBarbie07's video! She's a great youtuber, if you haven't seen her beauty videos, you should go check them out! So I tried to do it how she did it, with the hand drawn stripes, but I'm really not good with that so I decided to do some konading! This is konad plate m67 and China Glaze Heli-Yum, Flip Flop Fantasy, and Pink Voltage with Sally Hansen Insta Dri Top Coat (all pictured below)

What do you think? I will put a better picture up tomorrow with sun!
Thanks for reading :)
Also, check out my blog sale if you haven't already!!

my top 10 makeup products

Hello lovely readers! Today I don't have a nail polish related post for you because I still have my blue konad polish on (see post below) and I love it!

So today I have my top 10 make up products that I am CURRENTLY into. Now keep in mind that I don't wear A LOT of make up and I'm not a professional by any means - I'm actually really really amateur when it comes to makeup! I don't wear blush or lipstick or liquid foundation or concealer.. but here is what I always reach for! The locations of where to buy things will be listed but I mostly just know where I got the things and not all the stores where they are sold because choices are limited in Canada.
*PHOTO HEAVY!*
From L to R: Laura Mercier Petite Eye Palette, Rimmel London Colour Rush in Smokey Brun, L'oreal Paris Lineur Intense Liquid Liner in Carbon Black, Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black, Clinque Perfectly Real Compact Makeup, Bobbi Brown Gel Liner, Nivea Lip Balm in Milk and Honey, ELF small smudge brush, EcoTools Powder Brush, and EcoTools Eyeshadow Brush

Now I will talk about each item individually

Rimmel London Colour Rush in Smokey Brun

This Rimmel Quad is the one I grab for the most often, I love the colours, I usually just wear the upper right one all over my lid (Like I said before I'm not super good with make up so I don't bother with the crease and outer corner and highlight stuff but sometimes I use the other colours to try!) Available at drugstores.

Laura Mercier Petite Eye Palette
This Laura Mercier Palette is another eyeshadow quad that I grab if I don't grab the Rimmel one. I use the 2nd from left colour mostly. I ordered this from Kiss and Makeup and when I received it the 3rd from left eye shadow was cracked. They asked me to send them a picture and they shipped me a new one immediately! I have that one too but I just use this one cuz I had already opened it. They ship to USA and Canada for free! They have great customer service!

L'oreal Paris Lineur Intense Liquid Liner in Carbon Black

Okay, so on days where I am feeling more ambitious or when I go out at night, I put this eyeliner on my upper lash line. So as someone who is not great with makeup, this thin brush makes application SUPER easy and I would really recommend this if you are new to makeup and don't have a steady hand like me! I like to do little strokes at a time so I don't mess up completely (which I do pretty often!) Available at drugstores

Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black

Okay so latley Ih ave been grabbing this Clinique mascara because all of my other mascaras are waterproof. I only recently found out that non-waterproof mascaras tend to work better if you are not worried about smudging. I really like the Maybelline One-by-One and the Falsies but I own those in waterproof and really want to try them in non-waterproof because then I think I would like them better. I have really long eyelashes but this mascara just adds to complete a look by adding some volume and making my eyelashes stand out more. I got this in one of the Clinique free gifts with purchase! Available anywhere that sells Clinique

Clinque Perfectly Real Compact Makeup (shade 136 N)
Okay so as I mentioned before I don't wear foundation but I like to use this Clinque powder all over my face for a more complete look. I don't really know what it does but I like it! (as you can tell!) Available anywhere that sells Clinique

Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Black Ink
If I could only choose ONE thing to wear it would be black eyeliner in my waterline! I love it so much. I used to use different pencil liners, but ever since November I started using gel liners which last ALL DAY! First I had the Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner and I used up the WHOLE thing! so I bought this one from Sephora and honestly they are both the same quality! I'm going to try the MAC Fluidline once this one is finished. Available at Sephora or anywhere that sells Bobbi Brown Makeup

ELF small smudge brush, EcoTools Powder Brush, and EcoTools Eyeshadow Brush
These are my 3 favourite brushes. EcoTools has great brushes for a super low price and ELF as well. This is from the ELF $3 line but it's great to apply gel liner! ELF brushes are available at www.eyeslipsface.com and EcoTools brushes are available at Wal-Mart.

Nivea Milk and Honey Lip Balm
Finally my Nivea Milk & Honey lip balm. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! This is my SECOND tube! I have this one ALL the time! If I don't have my Smith's Rosebud Salve on (available at Sephora or American Apparel)

What are you favourite makeup products for everyday makeup?
Thanks for reading! :)

blue konad

UPDATED!
Wow, I'm posting again today! Shows you how much I keep procrastinating..
Here is a I Vant To Be A-Lone Star from the OPI Texas Collection, with blue konad m72

In real life the blue stamping brings out the blue in the OPI polish, but without the stamping it looks more gray!

Sorry for the bad lighting but you get the idea!
I added some new pictures, because today it's sunny so I stuck my hand outside my window!

What do you think?

What are some new collections to look forward to?

Coral Shatter

Hello lovely readers!
Once again, I'm really sorry for my lack of posts.. Today's excuse = Procrastination! I'm sure most of you know a little something of what procrastination can do to a student.. :) Don't worry my next exam isn't for another week, I think I'm allowed to procrastinate!
So on Saturday I painted my nails with Joe Fresh Coral to put me in a spring mood and make me feel better about studying.. and today they were super chipped so I decided to get a few extra days of life out of them by putting OPI Black Shatter on top!
I'm sure most of you own this by now, I don't even think it's hard to find anymore? I bought mine from Mexico actually ahha but I've starting to see them in Salons around here as well.
Excuse the blurriness..

Let me know what you think! Do you like OPI Shatter? Is China Glaze Crackle good too? I really want to try the Pink or White Crackles (or wait for the White OPI Shatter) because It will be so nice for summer! Whats your favourite colour to put underneath of Shatter/Crackles?

Thanks for reading! :)
